nah all good man, I just bypassed the hard line that was leaking with a new fuel line... no more leaks...

another question though, what size copper washer should I get to put on the gearbox filler plug as mine has split and slowly leaking

I too am chasing leaks, URGH!! its the two fittings onto my sandwich plate.  They're in a crap spot and its next to impossible to get them to seat properly so they weep.  I'm going to change them for ORB hose ends and eliminate the compression fitting all together.

Other than that I need to retorque my head studs, install boost solenoid and rebuild my dissy as it friggin leaky too.  Then its power tune time.  Oh and just put Totens old gearbox in it.

It does and I've just change to full synthetic so it bloody hard to spot where it's coming from.  Thanks for the offer but I too have just got one from Kbox.  Why did you not rebuild yours and go a R&T unit instead?

cause it was taking too long from kbox, and would have time to do it, it only turned up about a week ago, and with the car booked in next week, I was unsure if I could have it done by then...

a few pics for you guys, taking it down to the tuner today, even drove it on the road for the first time in a while...

also, pics of the front bar from my last trailer carriage... going to fix it up and mould the lip into the bar to make it look like the one piece

quick update, at tuners, has made 260 rwkw at 18psi on a rich and safe tune without any cam gear adjustment yet.

Still going up atleast another 4 psi, so I guess we will see the result in the coming days.

They say its running very nicely too, full boost is around 4300rpm, which isnt bad on a 6262dbb

Ok, bit of a bump in the road, not holding boost, they suspect the wiring of the MAC valve wired in by the previous knobs... They put a bleed valve and held boost up to 20psi, but need to sort out the valve to get it right.

This weekend I have almost got my front bar and lip ready for colour, need to bog up a few tiny parts, but I think its looking pretty good for a back yard job.

It use to be the standard ADM bar with what I believe a chargespeed lip attached, now moulded into one unit by yours truely

Thoughts??
