Went to the circuit club wakefield day last weekend. Only off the PB by .2, but the rear tyres are dead, and ran out of brake pads! http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results.cgi?25/07/2009.WAKE.S3.Y
The Dunlop 02G compound is M1, anyone know if that is the softest? As it only lasted 3 track days.

Luke Seurle who drives for a Newcastle team, ran in the Australian production car series with the almost stock, naturally aspirated 135i. They ran on a 225 semi slicks and would lap Wakefield in 1.09's all day. It decimated all other competitiors in the series (AASA production car series),as well as a top 10 finish in the Bathurst 12hr. It also ran in the Wakefield 300 when I raced a few years ago. They are a excellent package.

Hi mate, hope you are well.
Non of the other boys were there on the day. Duncan did not bring his Lotus and Damo does not like the format of SS.

I ran my car at Wakefield Park recently but with no official timing. Surok did film a few complete laps through the day with an average of 1.10. There is plenty in the car and more time in my driving! Hopefully a few lessons with Mike Navybox will see these improvements. Cheers

Dropped almost half a second off my PB at Symmons Plains. Got down to 1:07.08. I was hoping to get into the 1:06's but oh well.

Would like to make my way to Simmons Plains one day. I just checked www.natsoft.com.au to do a comparison with the production car series. You would have placed mid field in qualifying. Nice work Cruiser! When you consider the money and effort plus driver experience of these teams it makes it that little bit more satisfying.

Thanks B24 I've never checked to see what those guys are doing :) My car is lacking horsepower for symmons plains. Another 50hp would be nice. Heading back on Sunday to see if I can get into the 1:06's Let me know if you get keen to come down would love to see your car ripping up the plains :)

It will be a little while before I head down there as there are a few issues to sort before driving again. But yes I will head down there! Also spent time with a owner of a White Supra TT at WTAC who competes in Tassie. Very nice car and quick to boot so will more than likely try and meet up with him at the same time, but as I said it will be a little while before I head down there. Just a little tip for improving your times which I picked up at WTAC. Corner weight the car for improved balance in braking, fit adjustable camber plates to tune the tyre temps while testing. Learn how to wheel align at the track. Its cheaper than 50hp, last longer and a hell of a lot quicker.
