Out at oran park today it was a slow day as track is not cleaned anymore so times are 2 to 3 sec slower than 12 months ago but was consistently in the 1.23s with a best of 1.21.611 there is more time in the setup ie limited slip diff and a softer rear end but all good fun [:p][:p] http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results.cgi?08/06/2009.ORGP.S1

It looked a little 'twitchy' on turn in but Im sure that diff will sort it out. Have you changed tyre brand since last year? That could be an issue. The new set up may not be generating enough heat in the tyres whihc may be affecting times. Also it is winter so it has to be expected that you car will be slower due to track temps. Looks like your friend in the Datsun is getting quicker. What times was he managing?

I see Dave Loftus was out there in his little Startlet. That is a weapon of a car. It like putting a F18 engine in a cessna..

just wondering, how do all of your cars compare to say skylines, silvias, stis and evos. any cars in the same kind of race-prepped category eg power, street car/track car etc.

Don't do that to me mate. you know how much i love POWER!!!! but the adub is just so much fun bouncing it off the rev limiter and throwing it around like a go-kart at WP.
Next time we are at the track you should take my adub out and you will see what i mean!

Bridgestone are great on the front, but i have run them on an evo and after 5-6 laps get squirmy. The Yokohama A048 and the Dunlops tend to keep going and going. Had no dramas with the 02G, 15 laps plus of wakefield, and they just kept helding up. Mismatch due to being a poor ba$1ard! I found the re55s for a good price for teh front and the 02g for the rear for a good price
