Was waiting for the rca's to arrive which have. Spring rates are 4.5kg front and 7kg rear Dale will be instaling the rca's over the weekend and will test the bump steer to see how much change there is and what changes and parts he needs to fabricate to minimize the movement in the rear toe under commpression.
P.S Itching to get the car back[:p]

Just got of the phone with Dale and did his calculations and said that the front springs are to soft need to be raised to per 140 pounds per inch and that the roll stiffness is way to hard front and rear to let the springs and shock's do their job. So need to get some standerd sway bars if any body has some.
P.S He seems to think he can extract huge improvements from the setup simmiler to an elise but with strut's

great info - just read your post in the showroom. So does this mean your going from your current 4.5kg front (approx 252lb) and adding another 140lb/inch!? rears stay the same at 7kg

Hi mate Yep springs are on order will be trying greenline in the morning thanks for the tip.
I was amazed that he found that the sway bar is a major cause of my dramas.

Interestingly and unusually,
this means that it will be running 7kg/mm springs on all corners.

Will be interesting to hear your thoughts on the handling of the car
once you get it back out on the track
for the fine tuning of your set up.

That is amazing!!

I would have never thought it possible to go so stiff in the front spring and run the stock sway. What shocks did you end up going with?

How is your March calendar looking at this stage?

Looking good as i need to get as much time in the seat as possible so will come down for one of the days at wakefield but most of the time will be at oran and eastern creek.
My thoughts as well but when you look at his WTW (which i am not allowed to show on the net) it shows that the stiffness of the sway bar is hindering the effectiveness of the shock and spring to perform it's job under load. As the sway bar is also a spring it is always pulling on the strut at the wrong time. Still the standard G4 Coilover combo which he seems to think work fine.

I was really hoping for a day at EC but seems like they don't have an L2S day when I'm home. I'll join you at Oran if there is a day on? Just checked the website and still no March times listed.

Hey roryh, missed you by one day. Was at the creek today. Wasn't timed but your 1:50 is a blistering time. Would love to check out your ride one day.
