i have a 1988 aw11 that i competed in the vic super sprint series in last year, was a pretty standard car with coilovers and 175/60/13 advan ao50's (tiny tyres but all i could fit under my guards). my 4age cost me $300 dollars off ebay(so most likely had less than stadard porwer), none the less i managed a pb of 2:06 at phillip island

I'd love to take the challenge to the Apple Isle however, we're bringing Louise's car down to the Nationals not the AW.  Maybe another trip . . .

Got a new PB of 1'13.2 yesterday at a Circuit Club Wakefield event! Usually, I feel I could have gone quicker if I did x or y better, but this time I'm very satisfied. I wanted a 1'12 (and I know the car could've done it) but I gave it absolutely everything and this was the best I could do. I tried pushing harder and just ended up spinning off. I tried driving neater and didn't hold as much speed. I'd simply reached my limits.
 
The Kumho ku36s I was using have served me well and were even kind enough to give me a PB on their very last legs. The rears are completely bald and will probably show canvas if I do another day on them haha. Thus, this will be the last time I set on street tyres as I'll have some AO50 semi slicks before the next track day. Hoping for 1'11s and eventually a high 1'10.

I'll be picking mine up from the Yokohama warehouse out in Silverwater. Thanks for the heads up, I'll check them before I take them home.

I was just looking through the lap time leader board and some posts. How did a stock MRS do a 1.40 around winton?
Was this the short track? 1.40 in a stock MR2 is crazy fast for the long track.

I really don't know the details on the car. I just read the post again to find some clues but it has nothing of the car. I will pm the guy as it may have been in the civic
