Wanted: Head Gaskets and Head for a 3SGTE

Hey all,
Am currently trying to tidy up the engine bay in my MR2 and have hit a bit of a snag. I have removed the Head off my 3SGTE engine for a sand back and re-spray but seems the previous owner has sprayed it with god knows what and I cannot remove the material from the cover. So I am looking at just replacing the cover and also replacing the head gaskets while I'm there.
If any of y'all know where I could get these parts (preferably VIC) it would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers Ben

Are you sure its the head gasket you're after and not just the valve cover gasket?

It's the seal that goes around the outside of the rocker cover and there is also another smaller oval shaped seal in the middle.

You could get it sand/media blasted? If you do this you need to remove the baffle plates on the underside to remove any trapped sand afterwards though. Then drill and tap the holes so you can bolt the plates back on.
You could then get it powder coated or painted.

Gen2 baffles are bolted on as standard with socket head bolts, bloody hard to crack though.

What is going on with that RC! Holy cow.

    Cheers all!

Sounds like a lot of messing around with the sand blasting and if they mess it up I could be back to square one. Would rather (if possible) Just buy another one in half decent shape and get it Powder coated. Although I was told, even the powder coating bubbles from the heat after a while.

I've been looking on ebay and found a couple for sale. One in America and another one in the UK but, keep getting knocked back on delivery out to Oz.
You guys Don't know of anywhere in Oz? or even just somewhere that will post to Oz do ya's?

RC - Its an abortion ay!! I have no idea what the previous owner sprayed on it but, it is rock hard. It had a gloss, brushed metal, paint on it but, it was all cracked and just looked ****ty, so chipped that away and was left with this white crusty crap I just couldn't get off. Pain in the arse!!

Anyway any help would be greatly appreciated all!

Ended up getting one from the States, ceramic coated ready to bolt on. So if all's as posted I should be sorted if not I'll be in touch.
    Cheers for the help!
