Ken: I hope you can make it. Infact, I hope everyone can make it! also understand your feeling on the budget and making it. I too am really working on having the car ready but will persevere to have it running effectively and reliably. What are you doing to the car now?
Admin: If its all goes to plan and I am running at 10 10ths, you still may not see me..
Aaron: I figure he would be a pretty good carrot for you? Will ITB's help?

At the last MTC I think he had Advan A050 semi slicks, but I don't know if that's still the case.

You can run without a lid. I did in the Wakefield 300 2013 so will not be an issue anywhere else.

Thankyou for the entries people! Hopefully everyone from the last two years can be there in 2015 along with a few new faces.

It looks like a bit of a showdown between the V6's and the 4 pots in circuit class.

Knightrous (AW11 3.0 V6) verses Matsuda (AW11 4AG turbo)
B24 (SW 20 V6) verses Admin (SW20 2.2 3SGTE)
                         verses Sweetpete (MRS 2zz turbo)
Highlander (SW20 V6) verses Stuka ( SW20 3SGTE)

I will be interesting to see where Adrian finishes as he has just manage a 1.10.8 at Wakefield in a 100kw SW20. That is smoking for that track.

There will be a show and shine over the two days. If any one or any club is interested in managing the awards, drop me a line.

Cheers
Mines a 1ZZ turbo and only a small one. If I get my 2ZZ swap finished might have to get it down there too to see what it does?
Steve

Were they on stock rims?

Pete: I hope you can get the 2ZZ sorted but it doesn't matter. Its still a quick cool little car.

Rick: Adrian runs R32 GTR rims with A050 tyres. He had these fitted at the time of MTC2014 but has used these on numerous occasions since that event so they have a reasonable amount of wear which makes it even more impressive. I dare say he would crack a nine with the right conditions (again) with new heat treated soft A050's. They are seriously good tyre. He also has some basic mods like coil overs/pad upgrade/minor disc upgrade and some other small tweeks but that's it. It super reliable and pretty damn quick! He's old NA buddy he would battle with for many trackdays has now upgraded to a 3SGTE Hardtop. Once this is running he will be someone to watch.

My current carrot is to reach Adrian/Travis/Ian lap times, then chase after silly turbo's :)

Thanks B24,
My car is totally stock (probably needs new shocks by now) and i'm running standard road tyres. I'm also getting close to 50 with no track experience and a bit of a weight penalty, so i'll probably be the slowest person there lol. I'm still trying to get funds together so i can pay my entry fee and get a cheap helmet. Do you have any recommendations for affordable helmets? How do tall guys manage a helmet in their SW20s? There's not much headroom...

You don't need to go crazy with anything. Just run what you have and enjoy the experience. No one judges anyone else for anything at track days or grass roots events like MTC. Both years it has been run there has always been a number of people who just putt around and enjoy the moment so you can just do the same.
There are helmets for hire at the track. These are about $20 for the day but see what I do as far as this goes. Cannot help with the headroom! Dudeman is quite a big fellow who managed so I am sure you will too.

I agree, they will keep you honest. Also need to see if you can match Vinny's times. Pretty sure he was quick with the V6.
