I am playing with the newsletter option on the website so 50 people should receive a newsletter email for MTC. If you do, can you confirm?

I got mine.

Just a quick question.. is it allowed to run an mr2 around Wakefield or other tracks for that matter with out an engine lid?  Although I have never had a heat issue, I hear a lot of people ask the question yet never see anyone take them off, surely it would help with those mr2s that suffer from extreme engine bay temps.

I ran without my engine lid at a Circuit Club track day back in 2008, not sure if things have changed since then.

You can run without a lid. I did in the Wakefield 300 2013 so will not be an issue anywhere else.

Thankyou for the entries people! Hopefully everyone from the last two years can be there in 2015 along with a few new faces.

It looks like a bit of a showdown between the V6's and the 4 pots in circuit class.

Knightrous (AW11 3.0 V6) verses Matsuda (AW11 4AG turbo)
B24 (SW 20 V6) verses Admin (SW20 2.2 3SGTE)
                         verses Sweetpete (MRS 2zz turbo)
Highlander (SW20 V6) verses Stuka ( SW20 3SGTE)

I will be interesting to see where Adrian finishes as he has just manage a 1.10.8 at Wakefield in a 100kw SW20. That is smoking for that track.

There will be a show and shine over the two days. If any one or any club is interested in managing the awards, drop me a line.

Cheers

Steve

+1 (1)
I know I say this every year, but I really don't know if I can make it to the next MTC...
The car needs a lot of things done, so the overall cost for the trip will be at a record high, and my bank account is looking worse than ever before.

Thinking about giving it all up to go buy a drift car, but it would be nice to hit up MTC one last time before I move overseas. Can't decide!
