I don't think points are counted as some cars are not set up for this drift options. This would be fun a factor.

Will the drift section count towards the overall point score?
I'm not real keen doing that in my daily with its 24yo gearbox.

The drifting is just a little extra for those interested in having a go and for the benefit of out Japanese guests. Sonic Boom and an EX D1 star. So no need to concern yourself with wrecking 20 yr old tyres and aging gearboxes!

I met a SW20 turbo owner called Laurie at Eastern Creek on Friday and made an attempt to get him to come along to this event. He seemed keen. Hopefully he will sign up.

Yep, we have 30 entrants to the trackday challenge. Great result so far. Also looking at adding a third day for everyone's benefit. This guy entered today

Started stockpiling parts in preparation for the event. LSD Gearbox, new brake pads and full service materials. just have to install it all now :P Would have loved to aquire some AD08R's or somthing stickier, but the drive down would probably kill them Hows everyone else's preparation going?

I have finally signed up. I won't miss out this time even if I have to trailer the car there.
I'll see whoever is there on the Sunday morning. Then get a good night sleep, depending on Sunday night festivities.

Steve I wrote off 92 Hard Top with 99000 original kms on last Thursday. Had ten year old tyre on it, not a wise move, was saving my semi slick for MTC. Not all losted, Shannon is paying out. I'm will a have a Gen II 190 rwkw half cut for sale soon this is the one I rebuild. Looks like I will have to bring 306 rwkw instead. Nothing like a fine time line for getting ready for MTC.
