Good run and nice roads, although it's a shame parkwood-montville rd was closed on the way up. I got stuck behind a couple of Sunday drivers on the way back, doing about 25km/h under the posted limit and slowing to 10km/h under the yellow advisory signs. The joys of +10%/-0% speedo ADR's, ruined peachester rd for me.

I hope the rest of you had a better run back.

Thanks all who made it to this one.  With the dismal weather we'd had in the previous week it certainly was a bonus to enjoy the sunshine (without the heat).  Great to see other car and bike clubs out making the most of the Sunshine Coast, including the Holden Owners Support Group.

Our little cars turned quite a few heads in Montville, and the I'm not sure who won the Grand Prix de Car Park but everyone managed at least one lap in the search for the elusive empty space.

Unforunately I'll miss next months jaunt (Targa Adelaide is on that week) but here's to another great catch up in September, before the Nationals . . .

Walter,
Thanks for a great run yesterday, most appreciated by my Co-Pilot, we had a fantastic meal at the Inn at the top of the road in Montville, slapped the top down and had a sedate cruise home..... Nice to see three Spyders on the trip, we are going to take over..... watch this space....

Thanks Walter for another fantastic run!

Its a real shame my feet kept slipping, might have to work on that ;)
Pitty we got stuck behind slow drivers once again, but never the less I still made those corners fun haha
as for danny... he wins the DK award

Also wish I didnt get stuck behind the smoke machine (Elliot) but the problem was resolved that afternoon.

Looking foward to the next one!

For the people viewing from other locations we had better clarify the Male Street photo above by explaining that two of the Spyders had already left (they went early loaded up with co-driver acquired Montville goodies ) plus the other AW11's had also departed in another direction. The new yellow SDub of Nathan's really stands out in the crowd IMHO, as does the fantastic AW11 at the front, but it was also great that the new oil-based anti-pursuit smokescreen weapon had cleared when the photo was taken.

It was a great day thanks to everyone's efforts, made better by the incredible weather, and to quote Spyder's owner (not Spyder's driver) we must find some suitable co-drivers for the SW20 crowd so that the shopping pain can be shared.

Nate, great to have you along and welcome to the Club. As you can see there are minimum politics and maximum driving enjoyment. Having a yellow SDub also means you are keeping up the tradition of there being a yellow car to break up the sea of red.

We didn't say anything to you at the time but the cloud was actually the result of testing out our second prototype of a secret anti-Skyline smokescreen weapon that uses the car's own oil. At least that's what Dubtoille told me, and as he said he copied the design from the Net you have to believe it.   Eric tells me that it was fixed so that's a relief.

Looking forward to you being on the next Run with us, which is in August as per the dates on the top of the Queensland page. Walter
