CO-DRIVER'S RUN SUNDAY 21ST OF JULY 2013
SUNDAY 21ST JULY 2013 - "dreaming and hoping and wishing and thinking and waiting and planning for..." Well, we promised a more leisurely co-driver's Run this year, so here it is. For those who sit in the left hand seat and dream of more co-driver friendly activities, this coming Sunday the 21st of July 2013 is what you have been dreaming and hoping and wishing and thinking and waiting and planning for (there's a song title in there somewhere).....
We will meet at Hungry Jack's, corner of Gympie Rd and Beams Rd, Carseldine, at 9.30am for 10.00am departure. The meeting place has Caltex servo plus cafes, food shops, etc. and after we start we are heading NORTH WEST.
The route will take us via some good roads and some twisties (we still must have these as it is the MR2 Owner's Club
) to Montville, where we will park at a central spot, and from where everyone has two free hours to see the sights, shop, have a refreshing beverage, or drive around some of the back roads in the area. We will meet up again after the two hours at a really good spot we have chosen in Maleny, and then we will wind our way back to home on some more great twisties.
OK, this is not the normal weekend day 240km Run, but a change is as good as a holiday. We hope to have you all back in the Brisbane area by 3.30pm at the latest.
Detailed Run Sheets will be provided via PM as per normal procedure to those who put their names on the Roll Call, so come along and enjoy yourselves, the co-drivers especially, as this one is for only you (another song title possibly?).....
