nice choice on the rpf1's. great wheel on these cars.. also totally with you on the steering wheel spacer. mines jacked right towards me with a 3" quick-release setup.. and i still reckon it can never be TOO close! much easier to drive, and you don't smash off your indicator/light/wiper stalks when things get out of hand..!

Coming along really well. Love the new wheels! Would love to give autocross a try where do you go? Many places around Vic that do it? About the spacers should have got one when i got my wheel off ebay, didnt realize that the stock steering wheel is offset so if you get a flush wheel on a normal boss your fingers hit the indicator stalks. Lol such a rookie mistake.

I do autocrosses at Ballarat, we have out own motorsport complex at the local airport. As far as i know there are fairly regular autocrosses at Geelong and Kyneton. Sure there are more but those or the only ones i hear about. Ballarat car club has allot of events in their calendar for other clubs also: http://blcc.net.au/events.html anyway, got some Kumho KU36's fitted to the Enkeis, ready for Ararat Hillclimb on the weekend.

been a while since any updates on my car, atm there has been no changes but this year i have decided to go for some upgrades My brother is deep in quite an impressive beams 3S AE86 build and has his old small port 4age with nice lumpy cams sitting in his garage(has ecu and fwd loom). I have decided to buy it from him for the aw11, to go with this I am actively looking for a c160 ae111 6 speed gearbox (planing to follow Adrians excellent conversion build) looking to also install a kaaz lsd as I have seen it is very hard to get the box with an lsd. My dad recently put a lsd rear end in his AE86 and it makes an enormous addition :D Anyway that is my plans for the year and very looking forward to the changes. I plan on posting updates once i can get this started.

Cool 80's Toyota family from the sound of it. Never really looked into the specifics of a 6-speed AW11 conversion, but I'm sure it'll suit the AW11 well.

Hi there, I only just caught onto your project. I Brought an aw11 myself a month ago now. Hoping to take it to Winton for a shake down in June. I'm inspired by any build leading to motorsport. Hill climbing is something I'm keen on too. Loving the unusual Deep blue duco on yours too.
