My 88 NA AW11

Hey all,

Bought myself a 88 na aw11, the car is completely stock accept for the steering wheel.

I am using it as my daily driver and club car, doing mostly dirt events although i am intending on doing more hillclimbs, currently only done the Mt leura hillclimb in my dads ae86.

Had my first event in the car a week or two ago, got some footage of my first run, car is great fun on the dirt :)

Nice Adub. Going to be tough to keep it clean if you keep playing in the dirt though!

Got any modification/restoration plans for it?

Yeh i gotta clean it after each event, dirt gets sucked into the engine bay rofl.

In the short term i intend on doing the suspension, some heavy duty sway bars first and see how that goes, in the long term i want to retire it as a road car and stick a 20v in it :). Also want to do some tarmac stuff but that just comes down to $$.

Before this i was doing the events in my dads bigport ae86, i thought you could throw that thing around but was surprised to find that the aw can be thrown around even better. Only thing with the aw is as you would expect a bit more understeer under heavy breaking.

got some footage in car of the ae86 at last years mt leura hillclimb if anyone is interested

Hey awesome to see another Adub hillclimber on the forum.
Keep an eye on the Vic section for upcoming events.

Got around to spending last years tax return, got some suspension bits from the US, all up for the suspension ended being about $350-$400 cheaper than i was quoted here, so that was great

Nice one, I've always rated the Eibach+Koni the nicest suspension setup in an Adub.

jeez.. sure took your time to get that in... :p
before you go driving it, maybe pass the bottom seatbelt mount bolt through the hole on the right there..? (same as the catch that would be at your left hip - pass it through that hole?)
