The two manuals I use for the Gen3 3sgte are the following: The supplement manual covers anything that is different to the information contained in the 3sge manual. EG-217 of the 3sge manual is the section for the SW20 fuel pump testing/fuel pressures etc.

Lumix I'm glad you had success with the ECU repair. It's def a great feeling when the car is running smooth after doing repair/maintenance work. Where does the fuel filter sit with the 3SGTE conversion? Down below the air filter? Clear view to the gauge?
The AW11 fuel filter location is very similar to the SW20 being down low on the passenger side. I can just look straight down and read the gauge. Not having an airbox in the way definitely helps :)

Thanks for those links. Exactly what I've been looking for. Full of good stuff. Cheers.

That time of year again for the annual service of the AW11. I must have only driven about 1000KMs in the past 12 months :) Tried out a fancy Z386ST with synthetic media instead of paper with some full synthetic Castrol Edge. Info on the filter. These are new to me but may have been around for ages for all I know haha.

WHAT?? Why? Have you found something wrong with Toyota filters?

What an odd post lol.
I'm sure the Toyota oil filters are fine if that's what you like to use Falcon.
I typically use Ryco filters as i can buy them from the same shop I get the engine oil.

I have been using the Z386ST on my MR2 and although I didn't see any change in the results of my oil samples I still prefer to run a nice high efficiency filter as added protection. I was previously using Z386HE I don't think there is a great change in the micron rating of the filter media but just some improvements in the construction of the filter.

Cheers for the info Nik-Lee. I wonder if these filters have media that is similar to ones used By Mercedes? My previous daily driver was a C-Class which had a 25K service interval if the dealer used Synthetic oil and a super dooper oil filter. Think it had cotton or something in it.

I always enjoy browsing through this thread when it pops to the top. Any new pics of the car? 1000km! You need to take it out more!

Hey all, its that time of year again when i contemplate selling the car :) My wife is keen to stop work and try being a stay at home mum so that means cutting out some luxuries like a 3rd car (AW11) I would need to write up a proper list of inclusions, take photos and find my AW11 memorabilia (manuals, toy model, original dealer brochure etc) that would go with it. There were a few people interested last time I almost sold it. Is anyone still looking for something like this?

Would be a sad day to see it go but I can understand your reasoning.

Thank you to those that inquired about the car. I'll get back to you all with more details as soon as I can. I have a week off work from the 8th October so will definitely get everything sorted around that time. Need to find all the spare parts, extra remote/keys, receipts and all that sort of stuff. I'm very time poor these days so even the simplest task can take days.
