3VZ Engine Conversion

I am in the process of pitting a 3VZ-FE into a Mk2 and am not sure of the processes involved to get it legal in WA
Am I right that I dont need to get it engineered as its going to be less than 20% more power than standard which would be comparing to a Turbo
It seems like I need to fill in a change of engine number form but does that also mean the car has to go over the pits?

help from someone who has done it would be appreciated

TomsMR2 - Just read this - have to go out now, but I have begun compiling a summary and some answers to this based on my expeience so far and the answers I have got.  THere seems to be al ot of myths and legends about and it is a bit simpler than it seems - I'll post it up either later today or tomorrow

Am based in Perth too so drop me a PM if ya want - wouldn't mind seeing how you go with this, and helping out if I can?

    Cheers

Hi TomsMR2 - sorry I didn't get back to you regards this - have had some time away from the V6 swap and indeed the forum;  Have you progressed in any way with the application/conversion?

    Cheers
