Scratch that last idea, you have to get the AN3 Tilton and the adapters i listed as the 10x1 prop valve has the incorrect nut taper and probably won't seal up nicely!

So either get the wilwood and have the imperial nuts fitted to your brake lines, or get the imperial tilton and those adapters from earls (they stock both parts) and forgo the line modification.

Edit: I wonder why there isn't a complete, solid resource on aw11 brakes as it's the weakest part of the package in my eyes. Everything is scattered about and sprinkled with misinformation, and it's causing people to go down all sorts of whacky modification routes. The car is old, we should have it sorted by now! :p

I've just grabbed a set of calipers from the states for <$200 delivered, once I get around to putting them on the car I'll do a proper write-up. Like you said, it's disappointing there's no real solid resource on upgrades.

Twobrutal has/had a great excel sheet on every upgrade they knew off (and there were a lot!)  What other info are you after?

For the engine route I'm going down it looks like I'm going to need custom hubs made, so will hopefully be able to get something knocked up to bolt AW11 front discs straight up depending on where the rotor ends up being situated.

very interesting topic, such a problem with front of AW11 locking up early and upgrade like this of 35% rear braking power is great.

After doing a heap of research, looks like I'll just gut the bias valve as it's what people have had the most success with.
