I prob won't make the download (of pics) til this evening, so it's ok mate - hahaha  You'll have to be patient!  I WAS!

Nah, I had a good chat to the painter IMPRESSIVE RESTORATIONS yesterday - it seems these projects are always labours of love rather than of schedule/timing/deliverables - this is the engineering world I engage in;  this certainly drove some of my frustrations, though the real bad apple was the original painter;  Not sure on the legality of naming him, but he f*cked up the whole process, ripped off his partner, "lost" (or stole) my door glass, lost various other parts of the car, has a history of ripping people off, f*cking people over, and YES, I have his new work address, and some legal documentation to give him a headache regards the door glass - up to $1k to replace through O'Briens...

Anyways, we're over that hump now - onwards to the mechanics for srevices and reconstructed interior - then to the pits for rego..

HOWAY!!

Cheers
Daz

All will be revealed - hope you like 'em

NoddE - I had the body company who fitted the kit customise and flare/widen the rear quarters to emulate the ultra widebody demonstrator ca, which is what my project has been based on, so yeh it is wider than standard, though I think it looks woder because of the angle  the rear quarters slope off to ground - on the "regular" kit, the angles are more sloping downwards, on my build they are way more horizontal - if that makes sense?

Still a lot of work to do as the scope of works could not be completed by the painter/body shop in the time they had specified, so the low rise quad headlights, raybrigs fog lights, and vrious other bits are now at WTF to be put together.  I also have to pick up the side strips and wing mirrors on Tuesday next week.

Sad, but there are quite a few problems with the paint already - we snagged it as soon as it came off the truck at Kelmscott, as the painter had it covered in a plastic sheet (apparently to stop attracting dust from some nearby sanding??) - so far we have documented the issues - a couple of chips revealing the primer undercoat,  a couple of paint runs,  and a corner of the engine bay lid which was missed  - though the painter has said he expects it back to take care of a few "things" and the nature of his comments was that he would take care of them i.e. no charge.

We'll see about those things once it's on the road legally and I can actually drive it.  THIS is something I have been waiting for now for a very long time...

Cheers

Yeah i think i get it, did you do the same thing with the front fenders as well? because both front and back seems higher or more flat.

Will you go with a wingless style? I think it will work both with and without a wing.
