The wheels will look great I reckon.

Are you going to paint the horizontal rubbing strips black or leave it red?

Cheers

why not get some wilwoods for the back too and just run a hydraulic handbrake? its not like the standard handbrake is usefull or anything, so a hydro will at least make it work.

wheels looks good, i would have made the centres gold or polished  and paint the calipers the same red as the body.
what offsets are the wheels, nothing worse than having weak offsets with the wheels sitting inside the widebody. yours looks pretty good from the side so hopefully turn out nicely

The word WOW! doesnt seem to be enough, this car will definately have some serious presence on the road.

Personally, I think the grey wheels and calipers give a nice contrast, and look great.

Love the dish on the wheels too!!

The wheels are perfectly flush with the arches - we measured up before ordering.
Offsets are as follows, found elsewhere in the thread:

Front +21
Rear  -2

last pics from the painter, received last night:

Getting picked up TODAY, the bill is paid, the flatbed truck is booked, should be arriving Welshpool at half past one this afternoon, for a 2pm pick up on the truck, then Kelmscott and WTFauto.  Finally!

I'll post up some pics in the daylight this arvo when she's going up on the truck - won't have a few things fitted like headlights, Volks rims, door glass (long story), black mesh in front bar, but this will actuallybe the first time I've seen it fully red and put back together...

Cheers

Awesome! I can't wait to see some good photos, especially later on when the proper wheels are on there and everything.

There is an extensive build thread for my car here: http://www.mr2australia.com/mr2play/tm.aspx?m=18316
