Ah, minor deviation, Shoulda been ready yesterday but the guys have had delays; Due for. Pick up now on 20th... Fack! It's ok though, don't need it rushing now, she's had two coats of primer, and the shape looks class. Two more coats of primer then four coats of deep red and a clear coat n gloss. Come on!

Took my interior, dash and new white TRD dials to Tristan's workshop on Thursday - booked in for Monday arvo 20th to be fully put back together for rego appointment, hopefully layer that week; can't come soon enough...

Cheers

Righto, just to whet the whistle, I have a few extra pics to show from the last visit to the bodyshop - they told me they were a week behind so i gave them 10 days - hopefully, pick up is now on Monday 20th.

the pic below shows some of the little extras I hadn't recorded elsewhere, which are:
  • TRD authentic steering wheel (cheers Dylan),
  • Black centre console fascia, as mine was obviously repaired at some point with a crap blue-ish one - always bugged me.. (thanks Tristan),
  • Rays locking wheel nuts (not shown),
  • leather wrapped storage box, gear gater and boot - all to match the leather wrapped interior..

Cheers!

Cheers

Looking great!!  you can really see the increased width in the 3rd shot, looks like the wheel is half a meter from the side of the car!!

Will look awesome painted up.

Argh man, I'm so jealous like everybody else, gotta stop looking or I'll hate my car.  Better get the mop and start cleaning up the drool spill.

the widebody doens't make the engine bay any bigger. if it did then i think we'd seee more V8 conversions etc

the camry V6 isn't any wider than a 3s block.

This I realise...
But it could be an amusing thing to say when people ask 'why the widebody' - well amusing to people like me anyway.
