FCD 2nd gen 3sgte need help

wondering how to up the boost with out the fuel cut defender kicking in , i would like to keep it there but just raise boost ...

    Buy a hks fcd. It splices into the map sensor wires before the ecu to adjust the signal.

    It will be expensive to buy a HKS one, you can get a cheaper one here:

    If you don't have a boost gauge or boost controller you could get their package

    or even build your own FCD if you have a soldering iron it's pretty easy and cost me about $10 in bits from Jay Car.

    I've been doing a bit more reading and thought I'd ask seens though i can't find any info here....

    I've read that a fella got the FCD installed but then later had an apex'i safcII installed ..
    Does anyone know anything about these air flow controllers in an mr2 ( being a piggy back )
    Should I buy one of these apex'i devices , it looks easier to adjust the FCD ?.

    Do not get an safc, they dont work well with 3sgte ecus.
