Good information once again, was always going to be iffy with the 323mm sizing. Where was the contact being made?

Looks like the RX7 setup for the rear being slightly smaller disc is the only option for 16's then.

What needs to be done to make using these kits road legal?

You would need an engineer's certificate to be properly legal. I think all these kits should be acceptable to an engineer.

Correct, thanks Rob.
I did consult an engineer when i first shifted to the version 2 bracketry.
His response was perfectly engineerable (especially as using stock callipers from a standard road vehicle and not aftermarket items that do not use dust boots and the like), but you would engineer car by car, not the "kit"
It is always a good idea to consult the engineer doing your sign off though.

I asked an engineer local to me what would be required of me to have the brakes engineered.
I was told I would have to hire a race track for a minimum of one hour where a qualified/semi pro racing driver would have to take the car up to 160km/h and test the brakes multiple time to check that they will not fade/fall apart. bit of a joke really.
After hearing that the minimum cost for this would be close to $4k, I've decided to consult with another engineer

Now THAT is excessive. Even after performing an engine swap on another vehicle i own brake tests conducted were normal performance stops, not silly things like the above.
