Thanks C Jay. Now tuning is the hard part. These things can get heat soak on dynos

You saying your boot mount will heat soak on the dyno? No way man impossible.
Do you have fans fitted to it?
Where does the air exit after passing through it? Down through the boot floor?

Yeah it is getting a bit hot in there. Fan is on. But the cold side comes around over the rocker cover and is getting the heat soak from there I think as its close to the exhaust manifold.

I have wrapped the coldside pipe with some heat reflecting tape and its dropped the temps a bit. Gonna wrap the hotside also and see how it works out.

Also put in a bendable heatshield between the hotside / coldside and the manifold.

Originally had the cooler fan set with a thermostat but thinking about running it constant now.

Just run it constant. I highly doubt you'll have anymore cooling problems moving forward with the trunkmount.

Btw, I sold that Euro last year. The 2 looks good. Haven't seen it in ages.

On the road not really man its pretty good. But when you are on a dyno trying to tune it, not much fresh air rushing past. LOL

Hows the Lexus going?

Yeah I might bring it to the meet next month.

The Lexus is good. Been driving the 350 around for field work which has been fun. Took the FD around oneday which was an uncomfortable mistake....haha

Thats good man. You can't go past Lexus. They are awesome.

I know I went to an interview with the MR2. With my fitted suit sitting in recaros, wasnt that comfortable.

Sorted a few things out today, so temps have dropped a bit. Power FC is saying intake air temps can be 40 - 47 degrees today. On some nights where I am cruising its 30 to 35.
