SW20 Turbo
Really don't want to but I think I have too.
Up for sale is my 1990 Turbo MR2. Very regretful sale. Drives like a dream, never get bored of driving it.
158000kms. NSW registration expires on the 27th of Feb 2014. Comes with an engineering certificate which is included in the sale, so it's all legal.
The body of the car is in good condition, with no rust or leaks and only a few very minor dings. Has a hard top, which in my opinion is better then the targa as they commonly leak.
Interior is in overall great condition. Only thing is a small 1cm bit missing on the drivers and passenger door trims. Everything else inside the car is in working undamaged order. Original floor mats. I have fitted an Autotechnica boss kit and steering wheel to the car, as well as a short shift kit, TRD shift knob and new black leather gear boot. Will also include the original steering wheel, shift stick and gear knob with the sale. Also installed cup holders.
Engine is a gen 2 3SGTE which pulls you back into your seat thru all gears. I have replaced the spark leads, spark plugs, coolant, oil (full synthetic Penrite 10w40), oil filter, fuel filter and fuel pump in the the last 5000 kms. No oil leaks. I have only ever used 98 octane petrol. I have also replaced the turbo with a CT20b, which is the standard turbo for the gen 3 3SGTE and a much better turbo. All blue silicone vacuum lines, fuel regulator, aftermarket ignition, side mounted intercooler with 2.5 inch piping and new blue silicone hosing and a new K&N Apollo cold air intake. Apexi AVCR to control the boost and measure it as well an Apexi auto timer. And to make it all work an EMS 8860. Has an E153 LSD gearbox, so much better traction. Slotted/cross drilled rotors on the front and cross drilled rotors on the rear. Struts and springs have been replaced and you can really tell once you go around a corner, handles really well. 17 inch HP rims with good tread on front tyres and new tyres on rear.
$7200 negotiable
