hey thanks!

Ahhhh that was confusing looking at that, the indicator looked really recessed, now i realise that it is the body kit!

I don't think I'll go with those side indicators, they don't have an e approval rating on them unlike the fronts (no idea why though...)
They also had some pretty nice looking smoked sides, but I'm not sure if they'll go with the "crystal" look of the front ones... hmmmm

I find it odd that one place has it with an e approval,  but no others do...

So I had a look at the indicators and they don't have the e stamp on them. Could be that the vendor is just making the claim to boost his sales. If you can find a clear OEM set with the e stamp on them then you could just tint them yourself. There is tint designed specifically for auto lights and is road legal in Aus so long as you comply with the ADR's, ie dont go too dark. I've PM'd a link to the site selling the indicators so you can decide for yourself.

If it makes any difference I've been pulled up a couple of times for 'random' checks and the cops have had a look at them but not said anything....

I vote to install the OEM factory clear front and side indicators. Quality parts that won't look cheap or fall out when you hit a pothole.
Will also bring your rev 3 almost up to rev 5 appearance on the outside.

Factory parts aren't expensive. Plus you get what you pay for.

Fronts $139 shipped
Sides $45 shipped

Factory factory factory. They fit so well it's like they were made to fit a toyota by toyota. The clears look great on dark cars. This thread is starting to hurt my eyes!!!

I'm definitely not going OEM, its too much, for nearly half that amount i can get something that looks nearly identical, sure there's a risk that they will be a little dodgy, but I'm very used to custom fabricating with plastic, so I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to get them to stay in the car...
I'm actually really liking these at the moment, but they only have DOT and SAE approval... I guess that should be ok...

Thanks for the help guys. I went ahead and bought both front and side indicators in clear (the sides were a little smoked) these both had e approval and it cost me just a little over $100 posted from the UK to Australia.
Thanks to everyone for the help!
