Changes to Mod plate system (QLD)

Ive heard that after the 31st of this month we are moving to the NCOP system for modifications (no more mod plates)

What does this mean for people like me who wish to do the v6 conversion in a few years time?

All i can find on the transport page is that we are moving to NCOP. anyone able to shed some light on this?

Eric
