Central locking button

Hi guys, I recently bought a 1995 MR2 and there are just a few little things bugging me on the car. The most annoying thing is that the central locking wireless button is pretty old and worn out. It no longer attaches to a key ring and the button only works half the time, plus when i have in my pocket it locks, and unlocks the car when it chooses >:(

Where can i get a couple of replacement clickers, and can i recode them myself?

Thanks!

Yeah, it appears to be a genuine one... Is there any place online that you can order them without paying an arm and a leg?

If its a clicker with one button on it it's only 40ish from toyota

But I don't think it's a genuine one had a look at work
And they don't list a remote for mr2 for keyless entry?

So I'd just go into a toyota and show them the remote

I wouldn't cheap out on it if it'slinked to an immobiliser aswell
It may end up costing you a lot more the. You save

Ah ok 40 isn't too bad. Yeah its a single button clicker that's hooked up to an alarm, i don't believe that The Bathurst edition came with an immobilser. Thanks for that guys, I'll go check out Toyota tomorrow.
    Thanks!

Ok i went to the Toyota dealer, and they said because it doesn't have a Toyota insignia on it, they can't help me...
So I'm guessing its a dealer installed dealio. Now... how the hell am i supposed to track down this clicker... :/

You could try Jaycar universal remote and see if you can make it work with your system?  Has worked for me in the past.

Hmmmm intriguing... I didn't think that was possible, but I'll go down to Jaycar tomorrow and see what they can do for me!

    Thanks for the help!

Nah, at Jaycar they said that they only have static code ones, and they were like $45 a pop anyway...
I just can't think how to remedy this without fully replacing the whole unit...
