Never got corner weighted or anything. I've mucked around with the shock settings a bit and seem to be onto a good thing. Alignment is sitting on 0 toe all round according to our string measurements. Actually feels pretty balanced. Only thing is i have no steering feel on turn in. I'll put a little toe out at the front for next time and it should be good.

If iain runs some crap street tyres on the turbo and i have semis it should be pretty close haha. Otherwise i'm relying on you and ethan to bring your A game! Get a few more track days in and you'll be a serious contender in january.

We will sort out the semi's for the next time at Wakefield. We did work out the tyre does not like it at 40psi. Works a lot better at 36psi. Ian had the cold pressures so we can use that as a starting point to see where it takes us.
Adrian, you should join Ian at a few supersprint events. You will both be competitive in your class.
 

The S2000 would be faster than NA SW20 for sure (personally turbo would be closer match), 86 just slightly faster only cos more power and DW rear. If the NB is anything like the NC I find it hard to believe it's faster than NA SW20. Maybe equal or slower. Stock for stock. Well in my experience :) - (the guy tracked 4 times at Winton vs my 2 times)

Stock NA and NB are a second or so slower than an sw20. I've driven my brothers NA6 and it's just got no guts at all haha. Handles really nice. You can really adjust the attitude of the car through the corner. Only need to change your inputs slightly to get it drift or understeer. Whereas with my car you need to be a bit more intent to get the car to change stance.
 
My car did a 15.1 when it was completely stock. Motor magazine ran a 13.5 with a stock 86 so they're a little bit ahead.
 
Yeah Ethan let me know if you want to organise a track day. Alternatively, I should be at every Circuit Club event so have a look at the calendar and let me know if you want to book a date in. Another track is MDTC in Marulan. I haven't been to in ages. It's about half an hour closer than wakefield. It's a small, slow and twisty track so it's a great training track. Pretty keen to do an open day there some time.

Damn can't compete with that. I reckon even with expensive trick suspension, A050's and some engine work you'd be hard pressed to get an NA sw20 under 1'10. Maybe with a worked Beams pulling similar power to an s2000 but would be pretty difficult with a regular 3sge.

Hmm I wonder what a 2ZZ MR-S would run...

S2000's actually have great torque down low. It pulls harder than a gen 3 3sge everywhere. Then at 7000rpm when I need to change gear the s2k has another 2000rpm to go. A 2zz MRS would be excellent. Should go toe to toe with an s2k no problems. With a bit of extra work there's no reason why it wouldn't match a lotus either.
