Brings back memories. I did one up in 1990 then sold it to a friend who bent it!

Yeh ,theres not many left on the roads in good nick, most have been crashed/destroyed/scrapped and they are fetching silly money these days, even for a standard no frills one. Been driving it a lot the last few days and had forgot how much fun it was to drive, even though the steering is HEAVY ,but it allways attracts attention and sounds killer gurgling away at idle or motoring along. Alas its extremely thirsty, and no guys Im not a smelly Bogan either ,just an extreme car enthusiast that loves to drive cars that are different and not like the Geberic fodder that litres the streets.

They were a great car with a great racing pedigree in Aust. They built a twin turbo A9X for the LeMans 24hr in the day but it never saw the light of day. I remember the article with a photo of two black lines all the way up some country road with the A9X at the end of the black lines. It was a great day.
Great to see your still out there enjoying the Torana.

Nice one! I love that you've held on to it for so long. :)
Is that the original colour (barbados green?)? what engine was in it originally? (202/253/308?)

My Nan still gets around in a 2/76 LX Torana she's had since new. Its an S, 173/Tri, in Aquarius over Chamois. The 'Jade Mercedes' is a family classic... :P
