The "Other Events" Thread
The idea behind this thread is to post up all the other events that are non-MR2 or Toyota related that some may be interested in going along to.
There are heaps of things happening these days inc track days, cruises, shows, meets etc that it's hard to keep track of everything, so if you come across something post it up!

Just found this on facebook. Anyone from Newcastle interested?  Well that was an................ hhmmm............ interesting......... evening. Not sure that I'm a fan of late night cruising where I don't know anyone. Especially the freeway part of it..... I couldn't keep up, lol.

Nice find Shaz, looks like it could be a good event.
Did you check out the Hardtuned meet?
I Was talking to one of the guys from Autobarn & he said that I could park my baby at the Show-n-Shine but I can't do the whole day plus I don't think she is really "show-n-shineable" clear coat peeling a little & other bits. But if anyone else wanted to give them a call I'm sure there would be available space. Might go up & have a look tho. Yes I did check out the hardtuned meet. Felt a bit out of place tho & wasn't keeping up with the cars that I recognised once we got on the freeway, so I left them & drove back home. Everyone was told before we set off that there was to be no hooning, etc & to keep to speed limits..... hahaha try telling that to 50 0r 60 young guys in their hotted up cars at night.

Haha sounds about right Shame about that Steamfest event being so close, would've been good to try and get a few MR2's along for the day

Hey there Bretty. I'm in Newy & am keen for a run. I met some of the guys & girls from the club on the central coast in January, but there hasn't been a run since. I was only thinking the other day, why do we have to wait for the club to arrange something. Why don't those of us who want to meet up for a run just do it anyway. Which one is yours?

Hey Shaz, I have a black 93 with chrome 18's (came with the car). I bought it about 3 weeks ago, I'm more from a Supra background.
My cousin has a white R34 and we usually go for runs but we if one of us is busy, the other cant go.
