We have 16 entries so far. Be good to see a few more by Friday so we have 20 entrants which is a good number leading into December. Ian, Adrian, Ethan, James, come on guys!

What is this BEAM acronym?
I can only assume it stands for "Slower then 4AGE 20V"

I'd love to get my arse into gear and enter but I've got to make sure I can DEFINITELY make it before paying the entry.  I wont be driving the car down there, it will be towed.  This means sourcing a trailer (probably have to buy one).  Got to run over the figures.  By the time I get the trailer, fuel the hungry ute, put new tyres on the car and pay entry I don't think I'll be seeing much change from 5k.  Expensive for a weekend away :)

You could borrow Terry's trailer which will save a lot of dollars. To hire for a week is also a easy way around it. The Victorian's hire trailers. Can't help with the ute but you could find some tyres through the Lotus guys in NSW.
Any reason why you don't drive down?

Sharon, there are two and hope to see a few more coming along. Most of the entrants will take the chance to go for a cruise so you will not be alone.

LOOL @ Mr Petes comment, that certainly is the "other" interpretation...

Toten mate, just pay for the deposit :), I put down $100 deposit even tho atm I literally don't actually have enough to pay the rest (yet!) and still 2-3k to spend before she's ready (hint: doesn't include labour $). That way I HAVE to make it no matter what!

Haha Tree nice I did the same thing in order to force myself to make it and man oh man I hope I can. But judging by how things are going right now I could end up racing on some very crappy tyres need to find some cheap race tyres and find some how of getting them into an mr2.... hmm wonder if I can drive with one sitting on my lap.

Fitting 4 tyres on the passenger side (no seat) of an AW11 is definately possible since it's been done hehe. Maybe try ask your local tyre shop for 2nd hand semi's, my tyre shop which is a Yokohama distributor sell useable 2nd hand tyres from race teams or even Steve here can hook you up. Or shell out on a set of Hankook RS3s smiling on every lap ;) (but crying for the wallet)
