Maybe you consider a points based system like they use at the evo nationals?

Toyo R888, Toyota RA1 & Nito NT01 are 100, there is a Dunlop tire out there as well that fits into this group, but cannot remember what it's called. I want to drop a cage into the car, but I'm not quiet ready to fund a cage I'm happy with (I don't want just a crappy bolt in cage) or the engineering costs to make it legal for the car to stay on the street. Can I enter the Circuit Class if I might a roll cage out of PVC pipe and fittings

es, I will have a closer look over the weekend but the problem with too much scrutiny is it takes some of the shine off a great few days away with fellow enthusiasts. I don't want people to have to change their car just to get into a class. This is not an option. The reg's are wide enough that this should not happen. Admin Maybe you consider a points based system like they use at the evo nationals?

Thanks mate, will sort out the tyre mod tonight. PVC...creative but no. You have 6 months to sort out a half cage. I figured that would be an easy fix or just see if you can pip the ACT AW11. He is very quick though..

Better have a look at the track Spyder and start getting my list of things that need doing ticked off. Number one is working out why it wont key start? What difference does a Name branded bodykit have to a non name one? That makes anything custom not allowed?

Well, I hope to see that nice peice of kit for gear selection on the car. I'm not a nazi with the reg's but with the body kit, it was aimed at people attaching home made alloy panels all over a street car. When I saw this with the 'open class' at WTAC, I did not what to see this at our event in street classes. Clearly it has been worded wrong and I will adjust to suit. If there are any other issues, please let me know so I can adjust as this is the feedback I need to refine the trackday challenge. Cheers

Yes, it is a challenge! If all the circuit cars make it this year, there will be a spectacular amount of competition in our class for the two days.

Steve, I noticed there will be circuit under and over 2L, but will aspiration determine the class ie. if my car from the factory is 1.8L but I turbo charged it normally under CAMS then that will counted as 1.8L times 1.7 I think so I would be classed for over 2L.

Yes that is correct. Turbo charged cars are all over 2.0ltr.
