I have a couple of things to add about the above.

US dynos t(Dynojet) typically read higher than the dynos used in OZ. So that calculated 247KW is probably closer to 230KW here.
EMS powered have a terrible track record of delivering products when they say they will. Many unhappy customers here and overseas. Carefull buying from this dude.
A cheaper kit (approx. $2600) from KO racing / ATS Racing / Berk technology using the stock ex manifold and a gt3071/6 on a gen3 will net the same results as the gen3 kit above.

Thanks for the heads up about poor delivery.. I hadn't heard any bad things about EMS Powered until now, but.. To not have your items delivered! Thats a very big no no. Haha,

As for the difference in Dyno readings in the US, do you know why that is? Or have anything info that could back it up? Not saying that you're wrong, just curious as to how you found out..

So I'm guessing you wouldn't say a custom exhaust manifold is worth the money you pay for it? Does the stock manifold flow fairly well?

Apparently, the EMS kit is capable of 450WHP with 800cc injectors, forged internals, HKS 264 cams and a stand alone.. On 93 octane fuel.. This is what the guy from EMS has told me. I know not to believe everything I hear though ;) Especially after hearing your build list.. What are your thoughts on that Mrskylighter?

EMS powered might be okay these days but a year or two ago they were ****e. I have bought products from them like 4 years ago without an issue but based on everything that happened in recent times I would stick clear. The turbo kits from KO,ATS and Berk are top notch. My gt35r kit was from KO and it was awesome.Dylmrt uses a Berk kit.

With the exhaust manifold an aftermarket one will flow better. But the stock one is uber strong and will not crack and has been used on 600hp+ engines. If you have a look at the kits from the three suppliers I listed they all use an adapter on the stock ex manifold to suit the new turbo. So yes you can spend $1000 on a new ex manifold and make a bit more powerbut run the risk of crack in one of the many welds and have to remove it for repair.
In saying the above some manifold munufacturers like Full Race in the US warranty their manifolds against cracking etc. But they are probably the best quailty for the 3sgte and cost over the 1K mark I think.

I don't have anything to back up my comment on the dyno power measurement difference between dynojets and dyno dynamics machines. Its just common knowledge that Dynojets seem to read higher than dyno dynamics.

Any kit with a decent medium size turbo, injectors, aftermaket ECU, exhaust, IC, cams, full engine build will make high 200s. Also know that US 93MON fuel is the equivalent of 100RON here. Different octane measurement method.

I'll definitely be looking into the other kits.. I'm pretty sure I have already come across them, but the EMS kit stood out because of the top mount manifold.. After reading your comments on aftermarket manifolds though. It sounds like I would be better off just sticking to the stock ex manifold haha.. Thanks for letting me rack your brain for knowledge! Always better to ask and get help than spend the money and make stupid mistakes!

Ahh okay, thats fair enough then.. I haven't been in the game long enough to learn that one! But, I'll definitely keep it in mind for the future.

But, you're looking for 300+ RWKW for 450WHP though.. So I was just wondering if that would be possible?

No problem ask as many questiosn as you like. Just remember that everyone on here will have slightly different ideas on what works and what doesn't.

I reckon if you bought that kit from EMS and your motor had all those bits on it I don't think you'd hit 300KW on pump fuel. There arn't many 300KW+ 3sgte's in Oz but the majority of the ones I know about use a GT35R sized turbo or larger. Mobi on here is using a smaller 3076R making about 330KW but with home made race fuel and heaps of boost.

Yeah, I assumed as much.. But there's nothing wrong with gathering a few different opinions!

I didn't think it would make 300KW at the wheels either! I doubt I'll go with the EMS kit, primarily because of the feedback that you have heard of in previous years. But also because of the overly optimistic power readings ;)
I'll stick to one of your recommendations.. Cause if you're gonna do it, you may as well do it right the first time!

Its been mentioned already but speak to Dylan (Dylmrt) about the turbo kits. He is a distributer for Berk Technology so can probably get a kit for a decent price.

Sorry to hear man.. But, I really appreciate the feedback hey. I definitely won't be going to him looking at buying a turbo kit any time soon!
