New Queensland Club Members - Introduce Yourselves!

This is a new thread for new Queensland club members to introduce themselves.
Let us know which model MR2 you have and post some photos!
We also want to know what mods you have and what you have planned for your car.
We also want to know a bit about you too :-) (though not too much 'cos this is a public forum)

    Marko,
as I said before, welcome to the Club. You have made history by being the first on this special thread. If you need help putting up pictures, etc; send me a PM. Also, we'll have the stickers available at the next Run on the 17th of March so you can pick up one there.
    Regards,
    Walter

Hey guys my name is Fraser, although Millsy seems to be what i get stuck with.

I have a "91 sdub its stock apart from Advan Racing, RG II and soon to have Fujitsubo legals R and Gold Advan model T.

It has Alpine type X front speaker and tweeter combo plus type S in the rear. I have two twin 600watt 4 channel amps and 1 pioneer sub in custom box.

Plans are to enter targa rally and compete in a couple of years. Doing a full custom build including a twin turbos.

I currently live and study in brisbane and occasionally go to the sunshine coast to see fam. I'm currently unemployed and would love any sort of work.

Hey guys, my names Steve and I've been lurking around the forum for a while now and thought its time introduce my self. I drive a 91 NA SW20 which I've had for 4 years and been slowly transforming it from a full veilside kitted car to something that suits my tastes a little more. Mods are as follows:

Body/Suspension/Wheels - Border front bar, Greddy sides, Ducktail Bootlid (Currently on its way from the US), Veilside rear (keen for Toms rear or stock with Phoenix pods but don't have the cash atm), KW V3's (on the way from germany, 2 months and counting :(, Work Emotion XD7's.

Engine - Toms Carbon Airbox, Tanabe 4-1 Headers, Fujitsubo Legalis R. (Cams are probably next on the list but haven't really looked into it much)

I also have a new gauge cluster and TRD shortshifter waiting to go in. So a little but about me, I'm currently studying and working part time to get funds for the MR2 haha. I'm looking forward to doing a club run as soon as the KW's arrive and I'm back on the road!

    Hi all

The names Dan, I own a 1990 SW20 turbo. wanting to join this club, don't know how and would love to be told! haha

The car's been giving me a lot of problems as of late, however am working through them slowly. Hopefully I'll be able to have it back up in Brisbane in time for the next meet. Would love to come for a cruise, get the top off and get it out there.

Not too sure about whats been done to it but it has had some work, unfortunately the not knowing part of that sentence is also the reason for all the dramas as it was tuned a specific way and the race computer controller is a little too accessible and I think people have inadvertently changed the settings over the years. So just working back through it and hopefully will gain positive results.

Will let you know and hopefully will see you on the next run!

    Cheers.
