Boss kit for Momo steering wheel '93 SW20

I need a boss kit for an '93 Australian Delivery N/A SW20. It needs the ring to pick up the power for the horn. If anyone has one to hand please let me know, or if someone can point me at the correct part number from Momo I'd be grateful

Thanks,
Graham

    Contact  Autotek in Tullamarine Melb.
They sell Momo stuff, and should have the boss to suit your model.
I think there are 2 types for SW20's, one for the early horn slip ring (MO-7715), and one for the clock spring used on later models (MO-7728).
These also fit different wheels (Sparco, SAAS etc.)

Seems like I need the MO7728. Before I order one via Autotek does anyone here on the forums have one available?

Do you have the clock spring type connector on your car?
I thought they came on 92+ models.

If that is a 7715 hub adapter it has the horn slip ring missing.
Anyway, here is a pic of an Aus del '90 model wheel rear view, and a Momo 7715 hub  that has the brass slip ring used on the earlier models.
Alongside it is a 92+ wheel rear view, with the Momo hub adapter to take the clock spring connector used on later models.

It looks like you could make a cutout on the rear of the adapter you have to engage the clock spring anyway, but you would need to line it up carefully with the turn indicator cancel notches.

@Redtarga:  thanks for the pics. Makes things a lot clearer. Now to complicate things <sigh />
Here's a pic of my original fit wheel. As you can see it has the spoke pattern of the later wheel but the power pick-up ring of the earlier (MO-7715) boss kit. I am 100% sure my car has a build date of '93  (just went out and checked the VIN plate which says 9/93) but Autotek told me the MO-7715 was for cars to '92. And I have no reason to suspect the wheel and steering column are anything  other than original. So it looks like some cars at least had the older style power pickup for the horn post '92.

It looks like I really want is a MO-7715: agreed? Anyone got one of those?

@Redtarga:  this may sound really dumb (actually there's no 'may' about it).  In your picture is the 7715 the one on the right or the one on the left?

The 7715 hub adaptor is the one on the left.
You can see the matching '90 model Aus del wheel just below it that works fine with that adapter.
Your wheel looks the same at the rear except for an extra cut out.  That might be for steering  fog lights but I don't think Aus del cars had them anyway.
Can you see anything that locates in that extra slot, otherwise I cant see why the 7715  hub shouldn't  fit ok because you obviously need the horn slip ring.  I don't know if cars with power steering have a different setup behind the wheel.

Fitting aftermarket wheels to SW20's can be a complicated task and apart from horn operation, sometimes there can be clearance problems with cruise control stalks and turn indicator cancel depending on what wheel you use.
There are many OEM variations fitted, and I have seen at least 5 different types of SW20 wheel. Later airbag models  have a clock spring horn mechanism (no slip ring) that locate in a hole cutout similar to the rear of your wheel.

@Redtarga:  Thanks, it was dumb question but I had a moment of uncertainty.
Been talking to TwoMR2s and it seems his 7715 didn't have a horn slip ring. It may be a separate option. Back to Autotek I think - I'll send them the pic of my wheel.
    Thanks again.

I bought the 7715 in the pic from Autotek and it did have the slip ring.
However it is easily detached so there may be a few around that have lost the ring..
