Getting closer.

Unfortunately not ready for the Christmast break.  But I told them I prefer them not to rush just to get her out the door.

Soooonnn. They said I could have brought her home this weekend & then taken back, but the weather forecast isn't very good, so decided to wait.

Just a few little bits to do & small parts to source, most of which they could have told me about weeks ago, but ah well..............  They forgot that I said I would be happy to go badgless on the rear because those badges are out of production from Toyota.  Too late to fill the holes.  Found 2 new (old stock) in pack on e-bay.  1 for $500USD, lol & one for $14GBP from UK .  Drivers side triangle vent behind quarter window.  Josh Burton came through with one that still has all tabs

She is looking very pretty.  Clear lights look good.  I wasn't sure if the lip would look like it belonged there, but it looks great.  The new seals went on easier than they expected & they made sure she doesn't leak.  One sat in the car while another used the hose.  Doors close a bit tighter now, and they have assured me that no water is getting in.

Not letting myself get too excited, but it's looking good to have her home next weekend.  Be prepared for lots of pics

She's home.
A few before & after pics.
The dash - I had tried taking the old faded sticker off a while ago.  I couldn't remove it & had another sticker here, so just put it over top.  during the dusty phase of the respray process, it lifted.  They removed the sticker, but it left lots of white plastic & glue residue.  I should have taken before pics this morning.  I used Bowdens Orange Agent, soft cloth, plastic scraper & about half an hour & it all came off.  Surprisingly very minimul colour discolouration.
The snow - we got caught in a very light shower of rain yesterday, so she needed a gentle wash.

You must be very happy Shaz. Looks as though they've done a really great job.
Maybe a little polish on those tail lamps?

Yep planning on a little polish for tail lights, plus a bit of Bowdens Mr Black for the honeycomb between the lights
