I can't imagine that (the cross member bolts) loosening would be a 'normal trait'. Could you picture that happening regularly on daily drivers?

Thats a deadly fault imho.

The few times I've seen these bolts "loosen up" is when they haven't been installed properly to start with.  Clean threads on both bolt and body, and good quality threadlocker.  Plus refer to factory torque settings - a little bit anal, but much better than the consequences . . .

When The Pearl first came to our shores the bolt that holds the rear lateral arm in place dropped out and caused the wheel to move all over the place. That was at the docks when he picked it up.......

Got it home and found alot more loose bolts. Definitely not normal, just shoddy work!

Tacho issue soon to be sorted thanks to CharlieMR2. Apparently the 2GR tacho signal needs to be amplified to drive the MR2 tacho. I have to say that Charlie typifies what MR2 enthusiasts and camradarie are all about.

Some Enkei Goodness has arrived via Gorilla Industries. Competitive price and great service. Thanks Dylan.

Now just sweating on DeltaV's rear caliper brackets to finalise the brake rebuild/upgrade.

All happening with assistance from this forum. Thanks again.

Adding more pretty bits and pieces. Can't wait to drop it back on the floor and I'm sure the guards are going to need rolling now. This is almost becoming as expensive as stamp collecting.
