Preparation for skidpan

Hey fellas

for reasons including car control and fun,  i'm doing a small skidpan at queensland raceway tommorow night. The circuit is short and most NA cars only use 1st gear and you get about 2 minutes on track

Just wondering what sort of preparation i should be doing (if any) before tackling this

The oil was change 1000km's ago and is still pretty darn good, I also have a water temp gauge, vacuum gauge aswell.

Car is a 90' g-limited with coilovers, exhaust, pod etc etc.

any advice would be appreciated, both about protecting the car and tips for driving, as I really dont want to blow the car up haha

thanks

Remove all the little loose items in the car. An empty drink bottle or even spare change in the ash tray ****s you off as it bounces around the car.
Check your tire pressures are even and at the recommend pressure (or your settings of choice).
For skid pans, keep an eye on the water temps, low speed, high revs and low air speed means she'll get warm quickly.
