Steering rack seal?
Whats the best way? Get it reconditioned ir does someone have a decent one for sale?
Pretty urgent, help appreciated as im not too familiar with steering racks.

What exactly is the problem with your steering? Is it manual or power? You would be best doing some research on

and source a full steering rebuild kit so you dont have to worry about it then for a few years. If you just want the seal you would be better off getting one from Toyota. You can work out part numbers from this website

I rebuilt my own power steering rack, as reconditioned ones were very expensive at bursons.
They gave me the details of the supplier of the parts and I ordered myself. You have to be very careful as it's very very easy to damage the seal. I cant remember the name of the company though, but they were in WA.
I did a search on the net and found these guys

I dont think they are who I used but might be worth seeing if they have a kit.
