Recommended suspension shop for aw11
Hey All... I have a set of koni's at home which I would like to get installed and tuned / adjusted in my aw11 by a workshop that know aw11s. These aw11s are so temperamental when it comes to suspensions, and hence, any recommendations on good workshop would be appreciated.
I do most mechanical work myself, however, I never touch brakes, steering, wheels and suspension.
Any recommendations are greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance... :-)
Thanks, Mike. Ps: u can check out my ride at

Hi kassma, I have owned an SW20 for near 6 months, that I had brought over from Sydney. I needed to do a little work, & asked for assistance on this forum & was helped greatly. In one of the responses, I was directed to WTF Auto in Kelmscott as good MR2 people, I haven't been there, & don't know if they are into suspensions. Web Site www.wtfauto.com.au For suspensions, have a look at Wilkinson in Bayswater web site, www.wilkinsonsuspension.com.au Hope this helps

I was quoted 4k at wtfauto for the things I wanted done to the handling. Wilkinson suspension was much better at 2k, but I decided to go with Tony Flood due to his expertise in setting up rally/race cars. He is very busy though.

Try Wilkinson suspension in bassendean (Peter or Brett), or wheels world in Osborne park (John fowler).
Cheers

Oops, beaten to it. Tony is very good, but I didn't realise he did his own suspension work?
Cheers

Everything is still just nuts and bolts, he'll do it the old fashion way. Final alignment will be at either Wilkinsons or WA suspensions.

Might want to mention that next time you talk to him. Might not have been John personally either of course. :)

Thats surprising, as John takes great pride in the fact his shop does not use rattle guns, and torques wheels properly with torque wrench. Cheers

Either Wilkinsons (Bayswater) or John at Wheels World (Osborne Park). Both very knowledgeable and know how to setup a MR2.
