Clean and Tidy Supercharged AW11's are hard to find.
    1. Being Supercharged, most get thrashed.
    2. Those that do have clean and tidy ones, don't want to sell them

Keep looking around though, they do eventually come up!

Knightrous is correct. Good AW11 S/C's in original condition are getting harder and harder to find. With all those in Australia being imports the market is very tight. Just so you know what you are looking for here are some photos of my '89 - and like Knightrous said it isn't for sale.

tralfaz your car looks familiar :)

Mine is mostly original except for the engine conversion.

my 89 was a bit rough when I first bought it. But when an 89 came up for sale in the exact colour scheme I wanted I had no choice but to buy it. (or maybe wait 12-24 months for another to become available)

Best of luck with your search. They are bloody awesome!!!

Mrskylighter, what is my car doing in Castle Hill NSW? I must have left it there when I moved from Arlington Avenue (off Tuckwell Road) back to Brisbane 11 years ago!!
I agree, they are an awesome machine, very very underrated! I also have an SW20 in Sydney at the moment which I am getting ready to bring up to Brisbane after Christmas. Both are 1989 models, but they are like chalk and cheese. I was considering selling the AW11, but with only 126K on the clock I am going to hang on to it. This is a car that is nearly 24 years old, has A/C that works properly, a targa roof, gets 7.1 l/100km on long trips, and yet will go zero to 100kph in just over 6 seconds. No wonder people are starting to look for good ones - my advice is if you really, really want a good one then you must have patience. When you find one like you have done then go for it quickly, and whatever you do, don't mod it for the track, service it properly, drive it well, and you'll have a perpetual grin on your face!

Yeah I know they are getting hard to find, I've been keeping an eye out for quite some time now, clean ones even harder, yes.

But maybe there is someone here that has one they might want to send it to a good home, not to be thrashed and trashed.

Even the clean imports are near impossible to find, not to mention all the additional costs, and hassle.

I actually have a pair of Supercharged models, though I don't plan to keep both long term.
Anyhow, I could probably be tempted to part with my midnight blue car, in the new year. She's an 88 model with targas and fairly nice. Not immaculate, but as these guys have pointed out not many are. It's running, but not rego'd at the current time. Where abouts are you located?

There's a blue one on Toymods currently for 2k in VIC provided it's a quick sale.
Car isn't in the tidiest condition since it's been off the road for years but the owner is very competent mechanically so what he has listed you can be sure are the only issues you'll find with it.
