I've got the service manual procedure for rebuilding calipers.

sweet, that'll be great if you can bring it along.

I'll be making use of the chance to hoist the car up and remove the AC Compressor :D

Errr, i'm replacing the compressor next week so I can have working A/C :P
Found out the system was still full of gas and no leaks... just the A/C compressor clutch had sheared straight off at some stage recently!

I'm happy to be able to say that it looks likely that I'll be there in the MR2 now

ok so the attendees look like this:

1 - Beagle_senior + 1 (Amy)
2 - MrTurbo
3 - EssDub
4 - MrVirgin
5 - Carmikey (Maybe)

Graham, the only thing with the hoist is we are going to push mine out of the way as I have been working on it today there. I thought you pulled the A/c compressor up from the top? Guess we will see how we go.

From the top?  If so, that'll make it super easy to do! (none of my cars have ever had working A/C, nor had a compressor attached to them LOL)
Either way, if hoist is used, i'll find other ways to get under it ;)  Maybe we can do more work on your machine with all the extra hands? :D
