Stuka’s 1990 GT Turbo - Targa Tasmania Prep

Here is the latest edition to the stable! It was imported to TAS for hill climb and targa duties, I intend to use it for the same purpose along with some track work, regularity etc. This is a turnkey racer and pretty much exactly what I wanted, came at a bit of a steal too. The previous owner had the motor rebuilt with a few goodies and had the suspension rebuilt, rollcage welded in, rally computer/comms etc, pulls really well and is planted to the road. The targa series is moderately restrictive in regard to modifications.

I got through the hill climb and had some fun. The morning was warm and dry but it pissed down in the afternoon. There were a couple of big spills, including a minor one for a gt4. The car was flawless and glad to discover it has in fact an LSD! Im thinking its probably making 150 – 160 wkw, the tyres are a little narrow on the rear so I got the tail out a couple of times in the dry and more so in the wet but think I controlled it well with the throttle. Many people were familiar with this car at the event so it was good to hear stories about its exploits. I made some nice wheelies at the start line to keep the fans happy! good stuff mate, what turbo are u running? 160 rwkw at 12psi?? preety good

That is an impressive figure for 12psi, are there any other notable mods to the engine?
