WTB Spal or compatible for GReddy IC

Hi,

Anyone got a good quality fan for sale that suits the GReddy IC?
That or any ideas where to pic one up from?

DM.

davies craig, if you have the toten shroud then im sure its been made to fit the dc fan mounting holes.
your local auto store should be able to order one in i think everyone goesfor the 9" type one.

They look pretty good (DC), i was leaning towards the Spal as they seem to bolt onto the greddy without a shroud.
I don't have a tote shroud, he seems to have sold all the ones he made.

What are you doing with the old stock IC and piping? Can I buy it cheap to use for measurements? :)

^ you could - but nothing happens fast with this car. Work and other stuff (like $) gets in the way.

Ideally the cooler (greddy, berk, ebay etc) works better with a fan on it. and the fan performs better with a shroud. so it makes sense to put a shroud in there, you can still buy them from the states im pretty sure, EMS powered sells them.

thanks for the advice. I haven't installed the IC yet, just waiting to source the bits i'm after and will get the lot put in together. Searching for a 3' dump now too, the Berk ceramic coated ones look very nice.

I'll check EMS out, has anyone had satisfaction from them lately? I only ever read bad things about them and a lot of boards have removed them as a sponsor. EMS powered, right?

yeah EMS powered, not sure wethere they have improved quality and cistomer services wise
have a look on twosrus and berk site as well i remeber seeing the fan shrouds on one of them
berk dump pipes are very well made. ive used the ebay ones and one cracked because i didnt have the supporting bracket, once you have the bracket they seem to hold up fine.
dont skimp on the fan i didnt have the fan running all the time when i got mine as well, once it went on the dyno i instantly changed my mind about it and was annoyed that i didnt have it runnign constantly because of the heat soak that these coolers suffer from.

EMS powered has exactly what I want. Such a bad reputation though.

I guess if I use paypal and the stuff doesn't show I can use pay pal's buyer protection.

Don't use EMSPowered mate.  I've got a mate who bought an intercooler off them and he waited for about 6 months before getting told that they had none in stock.  He then waited another 2 months for a refund.  You're better off finding some-one who has one laying around or using KORacing (koracing.net) or ATS Racing (atsracing.net).  I've used koracing and they are fine.

    I'll check those sites out.

Here's an interesting discussion over at mr2.com...

    http://www.mr2.com/forums...powered-customers.html

I was going to use paypal, the ems site still has the paypal logo on the bottom of their site but strangely enough you can't use that option in checkout.

I guess you can't expect much when ems sign their emails as "Sincerely EMSPowered Store Owner"
How sincere is that, not even using a name!

There's a lot of venom on a few forums for this seller, shame the pics looks nice.
