Royal Purple break-in oil

I'm using this oil in my new engine and have found that the oil pressure is VERY low when the oil is hot and the engine is idling.
I have been told by some that this is normal and that it will read higher when I put proper oil in it after the first track outing and that I shouldn't worry about it.
Has anyone else used this oil before?
Should I change to conventional synthetic oil now?
The engine has gone through a dyno session so the rings should be bedded in a bit already.

Mr Glengineering.
