    still have a few more things to add lie dump pipe + wiring + Toms strut bar, etc, but this is only a progress pic atm for me...

    yeah thats no BOV and a K&N apollo filter to be 100% legal.. still made more power than with the big pod filter after the engine was run in.

    Cool, suprising that its made more power, was the bov leaking (due to high boost) before????
    bet it doesnt sound as good as the old intake though...

    That's the first boot mounted intercooler I've seen, I guess you have vents on the boot lid?

    That's the first boot mounted intercooler I've seen, I guess you have vents on the boot lid?

    Speaking of boot-mounted coolers, I just added another photo to my post above.
     
    Surok's car (which is no longer his) doesn't have vents on the boot lid. I think the air comes from the sides of the boot somehow.

    Yep. The boot mount cooler was setup to draw in cool air from both side vents.
    If you cut away some of the rubber behind the vents it allows air to enter the boot area on each side. Then the two fans blow that air down through the cooler and out.
    That method was used so you don't need an ugly scoop on the boot lid which keeps the water out etc etc
