That's a good idea. Ill be calling the shop tomorrow so we will see what they say. Also after researching sard FPR I believe mine is a fake. Seeing as it looks just like the 20-30 dollar ones on eBay with the gauge on it. Could the gauge be dodgy then and be reading incorrectly?

Possibly dodgy fpr.
But yes, no reason to run such high fuel pressure, it sometimes done to stretch the abilities of the injectors. But with your 800cc injs your good for 400rwhp afaik.
Is your fpr connected with a vac line to manifold to increase pressure with boost?

I'll have to check on that with the vaccume line. Ct20b turbo and If I remember correctly 225kw (waiting on the guy to email the dyno sheet should have it tomorrow)

Ok, should be that blue silicon hose for mani pressure.
Wow, do you have plans for a turbo upgrade? 800cc injs seem over kill for just a ct20b.
Also 225kw seems a bit unrealistic.
Stock gen2 3sgte? How.much boost? Prob 225hp, not kw.

have a mate that was running 215rwkw with a ct20b in his race car..... so its doable.... anyways the reason for the higher fuel pressure with the large injectors is to reduce the injector open time and improve the fuel atomisation resulting ina better burn and greater efficiency.... particularly in the low rev range. The problem with 800's is at standard pressure the fuel squirts in but doesn't always atomise properly resulting in less surface area and crappy burn... so you put more in to get surface area and run pig rich and use too much fuel... from MEMORY mines running around 60 psi too (rising at 1:1) with with 800cc injectors and a haltec E11v2. Initially i didn't have any problems on startup, i do OCCASIONALLY these days where it starts one cylinder and takes a while to fire the others, or doresn't start first turn then starts the second time with a pop..... but i get the impression its injecting the fuel and not firing it as the second time i turn the key the pop sounds like its extra fuel coming through... could just be cause a couple of cylinders have fuel build up and dont burn it, or it could be the same issue where the cylinders aren't firing cause of clumped fuel.... the OTHER option for me is it MAY not be firing cause over a while of this happening its coated the spark plugs a bit... i should check... HOWEVER... once it starts it generally stays started.

could also be as simple as your battery voltage being crappy..... ive noticed my ha;tech is sensitive to that and if it was in the shop for a while it might not be so healthy in the cells....

Ok so I have sort of figured out a bit more to this. So right now I'm sitting in a parking lot. And when I have it in neutral and turn the steering wheel not moving anywhere at all it shuts off.(I do have power steering If that helps) Did it twice and now my battery is dead.... Sooooo now I need to find someone to jump it lol

lmao... who installed your ecu? if the load of the electric steering is enough to stall the engine then it's really not mapped properly... what's it do when you turn on the aircon? when those things load up it should pick up your revs a little to compensate... another possibility... does the sprint ecu have sufficient and appropriate I/O's to run systems like that? or has it run out of capacity with all the MR2 functions? I have my original ecu in to run ancilliaries like steering, and engine fans... the haltec purely runs the engine. (but i have a bunch of I/O's spare for expansion options)

A registered haltech dealer. Nothing goes wrong with air con on or stereo on and one time I had issues when having my HIDs on. But I've tested that one flicking them on and off and it doesn't die. it only died once right after I started it after turning the lights on.

re 225kw on a ct20b. i know a guy that had a fully rebuilt gen3 engine cams the works etc, with 20psi managed to get 200awkw. yes in an mr2 you'd get a little more due to only 2wd, but not 25kw, and def nowhere near that with stock cams esp in a gen 2 on an old tired engine.

I'll check the dyno sheet when I get it, the guy was talking to me about it in kw before and when I asked him how much it made I thought he said kw or he might not have said either and I just assumed kw. I hate having to think in kw and hp , I've spent most of my life in America so hp is easier for me but I've talked to some people and they have been talking about how much kw the car has and then mid convo they switch and tell me how much hp they expect to have. Confuses the hell out of me

no way your making 225kw(300hp) at the wheels without some SERIOUS mods... my mate that did 215rwkw did it with an open exhaust, trunk mount intercooler and a ton of other "stuff" and the boost right up.... if he tell you it's making 225 then, seriously, take your car somewhere else....
