Fun track day at Wakefield today with some mates. Will need to get those coilovers installed (yep, delivered today), sort the brakes, new filter to suck some cool air, and shroud for intercooler to allow some more boost! Maybe driving lessons too, best I could manage today was 1:21.8. Definitely a baseline!
Some footage here taken with iphone/Harry's Lap Timer Pro.

Thats a great app. Video and data. Very nice.
I have a apexi air intake if your interested.
BTW, if your buying cars and playing at the track with your wifes blessing. Its not a crisis! Its only a mid life crisis for the people unable to enjoy their mid life.
See you at the track one of these days.

"Blessing" might be a stretch, "tolerance" at least though!
Can you send me a pic and what you're after for the intake?

Happy birthday to me.... the family all chipped in for my new DAS6 paint restoration kit. No more paint feeling like sandpaper!

BC Racing Coilovers in, feeling nice! On factory settings until I get a chance to fiddle,  have noted the recommendations in other threads.
This weekend's effort was a couple of panels of paint restoring, impressed with the clay bar for a start, let alone the cut & polish. Helped once I worked out it has variable speed settings
Roof & drivers rear quarter done, best she's gonna get without a respray!

Such a great gift.
I received a floor jack one year. My sister laughed but it provided years of fun. Bit like her getting a saucepan..

Gave the polisher a huge workout today, car completely done! Washed, clayed, 3 grades of cut & polish & 2 coats of wax. Right arm fairly dead. Car looks great from a distance, shame about the various stone chips and bashed up bumpers & sides. Still, a million times better.

Yeah, "the list". I think we've all got one!

Trouble is most of mine is mechanically beyond me, so I figured a good buff was the least I could do for her.

Thanks dude, needed to strike while I had the mech's attention, so brought it home with this.
Easy fix (retaining AFM etc), now pretty sure all my bottlenecks are downstream of there
Exhaust is next in the firing line, some time after track day.
