Whatever these videos are supposed to mean I feel they don't have any place on this Forum. It's nothing personal, just that there are so many other sites where you can read this stuff if you want to so let's keep this Forum for car-related topics, otherwise we' be having discussions soon about UFO' s and the carbon tax.

^^ I had never seen or heard of the building 7 theory. I don't mind reading/watching this sort of thing in the non toyota discussions. No awards for the voice over bloke on conspiracy video three though!

This is an MR2 forum and we have sub sections for Celica's and 86's, so I don't see why some conspiracy theory in the 'non-toyota discussion' section is of any harm

No awards for the voice over bloke on conspiracy video three though! The WTC7 theory is interesting because a plane never hit that building, yet it somehow fell to the ground later that day, at almost free fall speed. If fire was able to bring down a building that perfectly, then demolition companies would just set them on fire instead (*coughsarcasmcough*) lol haha yeah that voice-over sounds like an 80s Canadian science program... :P

I just felt that conspiracy theories about events that happened ten years ago, like the US Government allegedly blowing up its own buildings, was a long way away from a Forum that focused on MR2's. Its just a personal view but a Forum heading like "non-Toyota issues" to me seems to be the place to talk about other car brands or driving topics not connected with MR2's, as cars and driving are really the theme for this Forum. I was always told that publicly discussing sex, religion, politics and shop (work in other words) were the best ways to start a brawl, but I hadn't counted on someone also seeking advice on how to treat ringworm using this Forum. It may be that I might just need to broaden my horizons a bit, but somehow I don't think that the Forum owner would want sex, religion, politics or shop cluttering up the Forum either. I know that there are a lot of strange theories about what happened at the WTC, but from someone (myself) that actually worked on the problem of high-rise building evacuation post the 9/11 attacks none of theories were anything more than fanciful imagination on the part of some ill-informed people who had too much time on their hands (Rosie O'Donnell knew what happened - sure, give me a break!) . Check out this url and find out how a large steel framed building that is poorly designed and never intended to withstand the forces in play can actually collapse. It could make you think about working or staying in a hotel any higher than a few stories off the ground. http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/engineering/architecture/4278874 And the voiceover? These conspiracy theorists are probably their own worst enemy when it comes to making these videos. You feel like falling asleep after the first minute.

These conspiracy theorists are probably their own worst enemy when it comes to making these videos. You feel like falling asleep after the first minute. Thank you for opinions tralfaz, which have now "cluttered up" this thread. What makes you think that the WTC was "poorly designed"?? at the time, they were designed to withstand a collision from a Boeing 707 jet airliner, which is similar to the 767s that struck them! It is interesting that the senior researcher for the Popular Mechanics article 'Debunking 9/11 Lies', Benjamin Chertoff, is the cousin of Michael Chertoff, Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security. This means that Benjamin Chertoff was hired to write an article that would receive nationwide attention, about the veracity of the government's explanation of an event that led directly to the creation of Homeland Security, a body that his own cousin now heads. This is unparalleled nepotism and completely dissolves the credibility of the article before someone has even turned the first page. A section on the collapse of the World Trade Center fails to address firefighters and other individuals who reported numerous explosions before the towers fell, squibs of debris seen shooting out of the towers well below the collapse point, and the fact that the towers fell only slightly slower than free fall speed. The article was also written after Professor Steven Jones found evidence of thermate, which is a variation of thermite. "Using advanced techniques we're finding out what's in these samples - we're finding iron, sulphur, potassium and manganese - these are characteristic of a variation of thermite which is used to cut through steel very rapidly, it's called thermate," said Professor Jones. The article also completely fails to answer why pools of molten yellow metal were found underneath both towers and Building 7 (WTC7) subsequent to the collapses. The classic crimp implosion of WTC7, which was not hit by a plane, is glossed over as the article again tries to mislead its readers into believing that over engineered steel buildings collapse from fire damage - an event unprecedented in world history aside from three examples in one single day. (In February 2005, The Windsor building in Madrid (see below) burned for over 24 hours as shooting flames engulfed almost the entire structure and yet the building did not collapse. The core of the WTC was exponentially more robust than the Windsor building. So we have one building that burned incessantly for over 24 hours and did not fall, compared to two buildings which were structurally far superior, burned briefly from limited fires, and yet both collapsed within an average time of 79 minutes - and James Meigs (Popular Mechanics) claims they should have collapsed sooner!)

Dudeman ^ Maybe the Spanish are far better engineers and have stronger steel? ...yeah umm no. lol :P the US has strict building codes AND has to undergo 'Standard Test Methods for Fire Tests of Building Construction and Materials, ASTM E119'.

I religiously read and watched about all theories over the last few years. I fully believe it is a conspiracy. Due to the WTC7, the explosions in separate sections of the buildings and with all the cameras around the Pentagon only one captured the plane? That's all I'm going to say don't feel like an argument.

Essdub, I agree. A good time to have a Captain Jack and think about the more important things in life like cars. Unless of course we conspire together to have another theory.
