We'll All Be Marooned - Sunday 22 July 2012 Run

Sunday 22 July Run to Lake Maroon
 
Apologies for being off-air for a few weeks but after the All Japanese Day I had to undergo some urgent unexpected internal work in the Wesley and was ordered to take it very easy for a while. No Workaholics, no GTA IV, no downshifting, and Tosh.0 was certainly out.
 
However, we're now back on air, and ready for the next Run, which as per the Run Calendar is this coming Sunday the 22nd of July.
 
The Run will be starting at Oxley Macca's at 9.00am for a 9.30am departure (we're going there for old times sake) and heading out to Lake Maroon via some very nice twisty roads. At Lake Maroon morning tea will be supplied (yes, a free morning tea with cake) and then its on to Beaudesert for lunch via some other nice back roads. Lunch will be at Beaudesert. The actual driving time will be approximately 3 hours so it will be a mid-afternoon finish and probably home before 3.00pm.
 
As per normal those nominating for the Run on the Roll Call will receive a detailed rin sheet via PM so we hope to see you there. The weather promises to be good, the roads are great, and Lake Maroon is full, so come and enjoy the day.

I'll have to miss out on this one my car is still in the shop and I'm assuming it wont be done by then. Every time I call them they say it could be done in a day or 2 and this has been going on for almost 4 weeks now. All that's left is just dyno an tune but knowing them it won't be ready. :(

Chunkmo, that's a great photo of all the MR2s! Thanks for the great run. My dad enjoyed himself and loved meeting everyone. I will have to convince him to buy an AW11 :D!

Hey Essdub, what's a person living in crow-eater country doing on the " beautiful one day, perfect the next" Run posting? Where were you on Sunday anyway, and why didn't you come up and join us? :-) :-) Bit of a long drive to get here but well worth the trip.

Still have very fond memories of living in Adelaide on a posting there plus numerous trips down when we lived in Alice Springs. Some great runs through the hills and up through Woodside . Any chance you'll get up this way the near future?
