Thought id put one more pic up , as for the ecu i have no idea if its stand alone or not i havent had a after market ecu before .. a dyno is a must i think right now as i have no idea what it makes now after its been worked with pistons cams etc ,and ace the cams are stage 3 cams thats all the owner told me .. I asked him to give me a list the night before i bought it but he forgot to do it i was pretty pissed as i have been finding all these new after market parts which i dont mined but i have no idea about ... the car runs well tho it idles high and the mechanic said that with the cams the idle are running higher then standard . i haven't put my after market exhaust on yet coz the owner said he got pulled over so many times plus the car is loud with standard exhaust everytime i get to 5000 revs it just gets so loud and deep im thinking that maybe the cams make that sound i have no idea ....yeah i think that the owner got it painted as he was rebuilding the engine looks ok tho .. so you guys think this is a 3sge motor for sure ??

From the sounds of it, he probably replaced the original dead motor with another built one.

Stage 3 cams would most likely be 272 duration. Hes prob raised the idle so it doesnt hunt at idle or sound so lumpy.

Hey thanks nisssky for the link i think my motor is def a 3sge ... but i still dont know why he changed the engine number unless he bought the engine built and just used the engine number of that one ..yea its very lumpy still everytime i give it it feels like i just turned up the bass on high .. it would sound good with my after market exhaust but i think ill get the tuneing done and get the exhaust put on at the same time ..would love to see how many kw the car has after a dyno
